Climate Action Declaration for Tourism at COP29
On 20th November 2024, more than 50 governments signed a UN declaration to make tourism around the globe more climate friendly, in what it hailed as a major achievement of the climate summit in Azerbaijan.

- COP29 featured it’s first-ever Tourism Day, where over 700 stakeholders gathered to discuss the tourism sector's role in addressing climate change.
