On 21st July, 2022, National Institution for Transforming India (NITI) Aayog along with the Institute for Competitiveness released India Innovation Index.
About the Innovation Index
- The India Innovation Index is a comprehensive tool for the evaluation and development of the country’s innovation ecosystem.
- It evaluates the innovation performance of all the states in union territories in India.
- Its third edition highlighted the scope of innovation analysis in the nation.
- It highlights the scope of innovation analysis in the country by drawing on the framework of the Global Innovation Index.
- The number of indicators has increased from 36 (in the India Innovation Index 2020) ....
