Annual Survey of Education Report 2022
On 18th January, 2023, the Annual Status of Education Report (ASER) 2022 was released by the NGO Pratham. The survey was last conducted at this scale in 2018.
About ASER
- ASER is the oldest survey of its kind in the country, and well regarded for the range of insights it provides on levels of foundational learning at the elementary level.
- ASER has been conducted every year since 2005 in all rural districts of India.
- It is a household survey conducted across 616 rural districts and covers 6.9 lakh children in the age group of 3 to 16 years to record their schooling ....
