Global Plastics Treaty: No Headway in Sight
The fifth session of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee (INC-5) of the United Nations Environment Programme, held from November 25 to December 1, 2024, to develop an international legally binding instrument on plastic pollution, including in the marine environment, concluded without reaching a consensus on a Global Plastics Treaty.
