Amendments to FDI Policy on Space Sector
On 21st February, 2024, the Union Cabinet greenlit amendments to the foreign direct investment (FDI) policy for India's space sector, facilitating up to 100 percent investment through three liberalized entry routes.

- Liberalized Entry Routes: The amended policy permits up to 100 percent investment under the automatic route for manufacturing components, systems, and subsystems for satellites, ground segments, and user segments.
- Satellite Manufacturing: For manufacturing and operating entire satellites, up to 74 percent investment is allowed under the automatic route, with anything exceeding this limit requiring government approval.
