India and Russia Deepen Industrial Ties
On 6th August 2025, India and Russia reaffirmed their strategic partnership and signed a protocol to strengthen cooperation in key sectors such as aluminium, fertilizers, railways, and mining technology.
- The agreement was concluded during the 11th session of the India-Russia Working Group on Modernization and Industrial Cooperation held in New Delhi.
- The session was held under the broader India-Russia Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technological, and Cultural Cooperation.
- Key areas included modernization, fertilizers, mining, railways, aerospace technology, carbon fibre, additive manufacturing, and 3D printing.
- Discussions were held on joint development of small aircraft piston engines, a wind tunnel facility, rare earth mineral extraction, ....
