World Boxing Championship 2025

On 13 September 2025, Indian boxer Jasmine Lamboria won the prestigious Featherweight title by defeating Julia Seremeta of Poland, a silver medalist at the Paris Olympics.

Jasmine became the ninth Indian boxer to win a World Championship title.
The championship was held in Liverpool, UK.
India won a total of 4 medals:
- Gold: Jasmine Lamboria (57 kg), Meenakshi (48 kg)
- Silver: Nupur Shouran
- Bronze: Pooja Rani
