The Constitution (One Hundred and Sixth Amendment) Act, 2023
On 28th September, 2023, the Constitution (One Hundred and Sixth Amendment) Bill, 2023 (also known as Women’s Reservation Bill or Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam received the assent of the President of Bharat.
- The Act emphasizes the importance of women’s participation in decision-making processes for the development of the nation.
