Major Nuclear Fusion Breakthrough Achieved
On 26th January, 2022, scientists from the United States said they have achieved a major breakthrough in the long trek towards making nuclear fusion a viable energy source for humankind.

- The Experiment: The scientists directed 192 laser beams towards a small target containing a capsule less than a tenth of an inch (about 2 mm) in diameter filled with fusion fuel.
