- A lecture was organized as a part of CSIR AMRIT (Accelerating Modern Research, Innovation and Technology) lecture series at CSIR Headquarters, New Delhi on February 15, 2024.
- Here, Dr. Soumya Swaminathan, Chairperson of MS Swaminathan Research Foundation (MSSRF) and former Chief Scientist of the World Health Organization (WHO) presented her views on 'Future Directions for Health Research in India'.
- Highlighting the importance of SDG-3 ‘Ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for people at all ages’, Dr. Soumya Swaminathan said that research in this area should be aligned with the health and well-being of people.
