Indore Airport Launches Green Waste Unit
- Recently, Indore's Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport has taken a significant step towards environmental sustainability by inaugurating a state-of-the-art waste processing unit. This initiative aims to make the airport a "zero-waste" facility.
- The airport has adopted a comprehensive waste management system based on the "4R" principle: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Recover.
- The unit includes a wet waste processing facility that converts organic waste into compost for use in airport landscaping.
