Empowering Societies through S&T Interventions
- The DST through the Science for Equity Empowerment and Development (SEED) Division is providing grant-in-aid support to several Knowledge Institutions (KIs) and Science and Technology (S&T) based Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) for the holistic development of SC and ST communities.
- In order to improve the quality of life for SC/ST communities and integrate them into society, the SEED Division supported 500 S&T projects under the Tribal Sub-Plan (TSP) and Scheduled Caste Sub Plan (SCSP) Schemes over the past two decades in various states.
