Extension of PM Kisan Sampada Yojana
On 7th February, 2022, the government approved the continuation of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana (PMKSY) Scheme till 31st March, 2026.
The Scheme is being implemented by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MOFPI).
About Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana (PMKSY)
- The Central Sector Scheme - SAMPADA (Scheme for Agro-Marine Processing and Development of Agro-Processing Clusters) was launched in May 2017 for the period of 2016-20 coterminous with the 14th Finance Commission cycle.
- In 2017, SAMPADA was renamed as the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana (PMKSY).
