Post-Brexit Deal
On 24th December, 2020, Britain and the European Union struck a provisional free-trade agreement as part of the Brexit deal to define the terms of their future relationship ahead of UK’s post-Brexit transition period that officially ended on 31st December, 2020.
- Once ratified by both sides, the agreement will ensure Britain and the 27-nation bloc can continue to trade in goods without tariffs or quotas after the U.K. breaks fully free of the EU on January 1st, 2021.
