E-Governance Initiatives for ST Welfare Schemes

  • On 12th June, 2019, Ministry of Tribal Affairs launched e-governance initiatives for welfare schemes for Scheduled Tribes (ST) in the form of two digital portals-Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT)Tribal and NGO Grants Online Application and Tracking System.
  • In DBT Tribal portal, there are 3 main modules for Pre-Matric & Post-Matric Scholarship. Data sharing module is mainly meant for sharing beneficiary-data by States.

Need for Such Action
