India, Portugal Sign Seven Agreements
Exploring ways to deepen bilateral ties in a range of areas including trade and investment, Prime Minister of India and Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa held extensive talks, signing seven agreements in the wake of mutual development.
Highlights of the Visit
- The two leaders held wide-ranging discussions on bilateral relations as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest.
- They recognised opportunities to forge closer bilateral economic ties and third country partnerships, especially in areas like automobiles, infrastructure, construction, water, tourism and hospitality and people-to-people exchanges.
